Tillamook Air Museum Hwy. 101 entrance One of the new centerpieces of the Port of Tillamook Bay industrial park is our displayed A-4 Skyhawk. And isn't she a beauty? The project was completed with the cooperation of the Tillamook Air Museum, and is lighted at night, creating a distinctive landmark at any hour.
Tillamook Air Museum photos Water is our name, and it is in our nature. But oceans and bays aren't the only distinctive features in our area. Numerous waterfalls, like this one which flows into the Nehalem River near our railroad, dot the landscape. Munson Creek Falls, only a few miles from the Port, is the largest in the Coast Range, with a drop of 266 feet.
Tillamook Air Museum photos This distinctive rock formation is known locally as the Three Hopes, and is located between Garibaldi and Barview on Tillamook Bay. In the distance is the point where the Bay empties into the Pacific Ocean.
Tillamook Air Museum photos The Land of Cheese, Trees and Ocean Breeze. That's us. And the wonderfully cheeses produced by the Tillamook County Creamery Association helped us earn part of that title. Here, the main cheese plant is highlighted by a spectacular coastal sunrise.
